The department of music offers three programs of study in music, which include Music Education, Music Liberal Arts (General), and Commercial Music. In addition, Trevecca Nazarene University offers a degree in Worship Arts and concentration & minor in Music Business.
Trevecca is located in Nashville, Tn, often referred to as the "Third Coast" due to the presence of many publishing and record companies located in "Music City, USA." As a result, students have opportunities for internships within every aspect of the Music Industry and have opportunities to meet and work with some of the finest musicians in the country.Graduates of the division have gone on to have careers in music performance, worship leadership, public and private school education, private studio instruction, and various areas of the music industry.

Bachelor of Science in Music (General)
This general music degree prepares students for a lifetime of musical service and leadership in the church and the world. Students with this degree can teach privately, work as performers and in other music-related service industries or move on to graduate study.

The commercial degree engages students in foundational training in classical technique that is then applied to commercial styles of music—or music written to entertain and for profit.
