Mrs. Nyetam went on to study vocal performance and vocal pedagogy at Belmont University for her master’s degree. While at Belmont she spent a considerable amount of time at the Vanderbilt Voice Center studying the science of the voice. Mrs. Nyetam spent time as an adjunct professor at Belmont University and built a private studio in her home. She has appeared in several operas such as, Meg March in Little Women, Fiametta in The Gondoliers, Grace Ansley in Roman Fever and recently in Nashville Opera’s production of Pagliacci. While at Trevecca she has enjoyed several opportunities to perform with various university ensembles as well as in recital, including as soloist with the Trevecca Symphony Orchestra this past October in Mahler’s Fourth Symphony.
