The Specialized Computing concentration in Information Technology provides preparation for careers in a variety of technology positions such as, computer programmer, network administrator, database administrator, IT security analyst, business analyst, systems analyst, project manager, technical writer, QA analyst, and many other areas of technology.  The program is an excellent choice for those students who want a custom built course curriculum to meet a specific focus in technology.  With a specialized computing concentration, students will work closely with their advisor to build a unique set of IT courses to best prepare the student for their specific career objective.  The program is also an excellent choice for those students wanting to continue with their education in a graduate information technology or computer science program.
