Admissions to the School of Education graduate programs requires submission of testing information. Specific information can be found on each program's admissions web page listed below. Our goal is to assist you in each stage of the admission process, including the testing process.
Miller Analogies Test (MAT)
The Miller Analogies Test (MAT) is administered on Tuesdays at 5:00 p.m. by appointment through the Center for Leadership, Calling, and Service (CLCS) on Trevecca's campus. The cost is $65 per exam. If you would like to register for the MAT test, please call 615-248-1656. Additional information can be found in the Center for Leadership, Calling and Service testing web page, or at the Miller Analogies Test web page at www.milleranalogies.com. If you prefer to take the test at a site other than Trevecca, www.milleranalogies.com lists other testing sites and contact information.
Graduate Record Exam (GRE)
The Graduate Record Exam (GRE) is not administered on campus. However, there are several computer-based and paper-based testing centers. To find the center nearest you, please visit the ETS test locations page.
The Praxis test is required for all initial licensure programs. Before you register for a test, please visit the ETS Tennessee requirements to ensure you are taking the proper test.
