Trevecca Nazarene University’s Student Loan Lender Policy

The Financial Aid Office carefully reviews various lenders before recommending a lender to students who are borrowing from the Federal Stafford and/or Federal Plus loan programs. In considering which lenders to recommend, the university considers the following:

1. Borrower benefits provided by the lender for the student.

2. Level of customer service provided by the lender to the student.

The FA office staff reviews the benefits to the student to make sure they are competitive with benefits offered by other lenders. The university also monitors the customer service provided by the lender to the student and institution. The FA office staff reviews our recommended lenders on an annual basis.

The FA office does not require a student to use a lender on the recommended lender list. Loans will be processed for any lender requested by the student.

Students are welcomed to share their views of the lenders with the FA office. Students should e-mail their comments to financial_ aid@trevecca.edu.
