PLEASE NOTE: The current practicum/internship information is valid for students starting either of the master's graduate counseling programs prior to Fall 2011. New requirements for students entering the program, Fall 2011 and beyond, will be available soon.

Practica are courses taken within the masters' programs in order to complete degree requirements.  Internships are post-degree courses taken to satisfy the state of Tennessee's licensure requirements for LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor).

Students, to initiate a contract to the practicum site, complete a Site Summary form (for your specific graduate program) and email it to jharvey@trevecca.edu.  Upon approval, a contract will be sent to your site supervisor. Please complete all questions on the form, especially the credentials for your supervisor.  A Site Summary should only be submitted when the practicum placement has been confirmed with the site director/supervisor.
