Preaching Gospel Narratives- A Preaching Webinar

with Mike Jackson

Tuesday Nights @ 6:30 p.m.

(Time subject to changes based on participant availability)

April 1-29

While focusing on the narratives in the gospel, this webinar will investigate the character of narrative and its rhetorical devices and techniques. We will consider the ways that narrative functions s to form and re-form identity, vocation, ethic, and worldview. We will examine gospel narratives (with special emphasis on the Gospel of Luke) with a view to understand how these particular narratives do their rhetorical work among the faithful. We will also examine how we may incorporate these narrative devices and techniques into the crafting of form-sensitive sermons.

The webinar will be limited to 15 participants, and registration will be taken on a first come, first served basis.
