MOORE GYM -- The first round of the 5th Annual Trojan Boosters Endowment Tournament saw Trevecca pitted against Indiana Wesleyan.

The Wildcats broke out of the gates early taking a 39-26 lead thanks to gaurd Aaron Brothers who scored 20 points in the first half. The Trojans, however, closed the half with a 12-0 run led by senior Curtis Lewis who tallied 15 points before halftime. Indiana Wesleyan led by only one point at halftime 39-38. In the second half, Trevecca outscored Indiana Wesleyan by 15 points for an 84-70 victory.

Senior Curtis Lewis led the way for the Trojans with 25 points including five three pointers. Junior Eric Price scored 16 points and six rebounds while junior Wes Poe added 14 points, six rebounds, and three assists. Junior Brandon Howard tallied seven points, seven assists, five steals, and five rebounds. Senior Aaron Brothers led Indiana Wesleyan with 30 points in the losing effort including four three pointers and shooting 13 of 19 from the field.

The Trojans improve to 7-6 on the season while the Wildcats fall to 8-6 overall.
