MOORE GYM -- Trevecca (9-6) hosted Campbellsville University (11-6) Tuesday night for a rematch of a December 12 match up that saw Campbellsville win at home in triple overtime.

No overtime was needed at Moore Gymnasium as Trojan sophomore Jerod Perry hit four three pointers in the first half to give Trevecca a 37-29 lead at halftime. The second half saw much of the same as the Trojans took an 11-0 run with Perry hitting two three pointers in the stretch to give Trevecca an 83-66 victory.

Trevecca senior David Stark (DCA) tallied his third double-double of the season with a season high 15 point, 11 rebound performance while sophomore Jerod Perry led Trevecca with a career high 25 points including six three pointers and added seven rebounds and two blocks. Senior Curtis Lewis, recently named TranSouth Player of the Week, added 19 points including five three pointers and six assists. Brandon Howard just missed a double-double with nine points, nine rebounds and four steals. Travis Wright led Campbellsville with 26 points in the losing effort.

As a team Trevecca hit 11 of 18 (61.1%) from three-point range. Trevecca won the battle of the boards 43-32 and had the edge in bench scoring (31-11), second chance points (11-4), and points in the paint (34-18).

The Trojans improve to 9-6 on the season with their fourth win in a row, while Campbellsville falls to 11-6 overall.

The Trojans won't play again till they start conference play at No. 10 Cumberland University (9-2) on Thursday, January 15 at 8 p.m. in Lebanon, Tenn.
