CLEVELAND, Tenn. - Trevecca (14-13, 5-7) took out Lee University (14-16, 3-9) in Cleveland, Tenn. Thursday evening 83-75.

The Trojans fell behind early (30-25), but seized the momentum late in the first half, rallying to take a one point lead at the half, 34-33.  Coming out of the break, the Trojans continued to surge, building a 17-point lead, but the Flames responded with an 11-0 run eventually tying the game at 69.  From there the Trojans dominated, going on a 14-6 run to finish the game, emerging with the 8-point win.

Senior Curtis Lewis led the Team with 28 points, putting him into the Trojans 1,000 point club (1,021) and his six three-point field goals helped him set the school record for most three-point baskets in a season with 83. Lewis is the 29th men's player to surpass the 1,000 career scoring mark.  Brandon Howard (14), Robert Garrett (13), and Eric Price (10) also scored in double figures, and Wes Poe had hist seventh double-double with 10 points and a team high 10 rebounds.  Howard led in both assists (6) and steals (5), while Price led the way with 2 blocked shots.  As a team, the Trojans shot 30-55 (54.5%) from the field, 8-12 from behind the arc (66.7%), and 15-21 (71.4%) from the charity stripe.

The Trojans will host Berry College (6-26, 3-9) on Saturday at 4 p.m. Berry's record should have been 16-15, but the Vikings were forced to forfeit 10 wins earlier this season after a player was ruled ineligible by the NAIA.
