MOORE GYM - Trevecca (15-13, 6-7) defeated Berry College (6-26, 3-10) on Senior Day on Saturday by a final score of 103-70. Berry's record should have been 16-16, but the Vikings were forced to forfeit 10 wins earlier this season after a player was ruled ineligible by the NAIA.

The game opened with Trevecca and Berry battling for most of the half with the Trojans taking a 39-31 lead at halftime. Trevecca exploded in the second half for 64 points shooting 23 of 34 (67.6%) from the field. Midway through the second half, the Trojans took their biggest lead of the game with a score of 98-58. Trevecca eventually took the blowout win 103-70.

Senior Curtis Lewis led all scoring with 18 points including two three pointers and hit 8 of 8 from the free throw while fellow senior David Stark added 11 points and eight rebounds. Rob Garrett added 16 points and six rebounds, Brandon Howard tallied 12 points and five steals, and Damien Chisholm scored 11 points. Junior Wesley Poe tallied 16 points and became the 30th member of the Trevecca 1,000 point club.
