MOORE GYM --- Opening the Trevecca Athletic Homecoming festivities, the NAIA #18 Lady Trojans defeated NAIA #28 McKendree College 83-55. In front of a capacity crowd four Lady Trojans reached double digits in scoring as the team shot 44.1% from the field and 41.2% from the three point line. McKendree College were forced into commiting 30 turnovers while only shooting 36.4% from the field. Sophomore Ashlie Gilland and junior Leslie Golden finished with 11 points each while senior Lindsey Fly, junior Julia Machalela, and sophomore Jana Reed each scored 10 points, Fly and Machalela also led the Lady Trojans with 7 rebounds each. The Lady Trojans also scored 38 points off turnovers and 38 points from the bench.
