OLATHE, Kan. --- The Trojans fell in a heartbreaker Friday night to the Mid-America Nazarene University Pioneers 76-67, despite having a double digit lead with just over 10 minutes remaining in the game.

Wesley Poe led the Trojans with 16 points and 12 boards and was the only player on either team to notch a double-double.  Poe also set the career record for blocks with his 93rd in the first half.  Elliot Cowart, Curtis Lewis, and Eric Price were also in double figures for the Trojans, dropping 10, 15, and 10 respectively.  The Trojans shot 42.6% (26-61) from the field, but also turned the ball over 16 times.

Trevecca. had a 12 point lead midway through the second half, but coughed it up very quickly en route to the nine point loss.

The Trojans hit the hardwood again Saturday night when they battle Union College from Nebraska in the Mid-America Tournament at 7:00.  The game will be broadcast over the 89.1 and 91.5 FM WNAZ and over the internet at http://www.networkwcs.com/asx/wnaz.asx
