OLATHE, Kan. --- The Trojans (3-1) defeated Union College of Nebraska (3-6) 100-69 in the Mid-America Nazarene University Tournament. It was the first time the Trojans had reached the 100 point mark since scoring 100 in a win at Dillard University in January of last season.

Trevecca led 44-35 at the half after shooting 52.8% from the field. Trevecca hit 12 of 19 free throw attempts in the first half. Curtis Lewis had 15 points in the first half to pace the Trojans. The Trojans didn't let off the gas outscoring Union 66-34 in the second half.

The Trojans shot 58% from the field, 35% from three-point range, and 72% (28-39) from the foul line. Trevecca outrebounded Union 44-35 and had six players score in double figures. Wes Poe led the way with his 3rd double-double in as many games this season.  Poe had 16 points and 14 rebounds. Curtis Lewis (15), Robert Garret (14), David Stark (12), Brandon Howard (11), and Elliot Cowart (11) also scored in double figures.

Trevecca will travel to Daytona, Florida to play in the Trip Sports Invitational at Emery Riddle College.  Trevecca will play Emery-Riddle on Friday at 7:00 p.m. and will play at 5:00 or 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.  Trevecca's games are broadcast over the 89.1 and 91.5 FM WNAZ and over the internet at http://www.networkwcs.com/asx/wnaz.asx
