CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. --- The Trojans battled this weekend in the Campbellsville Classic. In the first time, the Trojans fell 95-90 in a three overtime marathon against host team Campbellsville College. In the final day of the Campbellsville Classic, Trevecca took on NAIA #3 Lindsey Wilson College. The score remained close most of the game as Lindsey Wilson mounted a small lead at halftime 35-29. In the second half, Trevecca cameback with a 16-2 run and took the lead late in the game, but the Blue Raiders proved why they're the #3 team in the NAIA finishing the game with a 19-6 run lead by Tim Ware (13 points, two three pointers) as Lindsey Wilson picked up the victory 70-60. Three Trojans finished scoring in double figures. Senior Curtis Lewis led Trevecca with 17 points and three assists. Brandon Howard picked up his second double-double of the tournament with a 10 point, 11 rebound performance while Elliott Cowart added 10 points in the losing effort. As a team, Trevecca shot 24 of 55 (43.6%) from the field, 5 of 12 (41.7%) from the three point line, and 7 of 8 (87.5%) from the free throw line. Trevecca falls to 5-6 on the season while Lindsey Wilson improves to 12-0 overall.
