NASHVILLE, Tenn. - NAIA No. 19 Trevecca (12-7, 3-2) hosted Lyon College (12-8, 1-3) on Saturday and came out with the 73-50 victory. 

In the first half both teams stayed close sending Trevecca into the half ahead only by three 33-30. Midway through the second half the Lady Trojans pulled away taking a big lead and claiming the 73-50 win.

Jackie Weaver led Trevecca with 18 points and 11 rebounds. Ashlie Gilland added 15 points. Mariska Reed stepped up for the Lady Trojans providing 10 points, four steals, and three assists. Trevecca out-rebounded their opponent 40-32. As a team the Lady Trojans shot 22-59 (37.3%) from the field, 3-13 (23.1%) from behind the arc, and 26-36 (72.2%) from the foul line.
