OWENSBORO, KY. - NAIA No. 19. Trevecca (13-7, 3-2) visited Brescia University (7-19) in Owensboro, Ky. tonight and won 72-57.

At the beginning of the first half Brescia took an early lead until the Lady Trojans went on a 9-0 run claiming the 9-3 lead. The Lady Trojans maintained a slight lead going into half time ahead 38-27. In the second half Trevecca continued to play hard building on their lead and claiming the 72-57 victory.

 Ashlie Gilland led the team in scoring with 18 points and four steals. Jackie Weaver had 13 points and 11 rebounds alongside Jana Reed’s 16 points. As a team Trevecca shot 29-45 (64.4%) from the field, 5-10 (50%) from behind the arc, and 9-13 (69.2%) from the foul line.
