NASHVILLE, TENN. – NAIA No. 19 Trevecca (14-7, 4-2) hosted TranSouth opponent Blue Mountain College (9-9, 2-4) today and won 82-58.

In the first half the Lady Trojans pulled away on an 11-0 run claiming the 21-15 lead. Trevecca stayed ahead going into half time with a 32-25 lead. Midway through the second half Trevecca went on an 11-0 taking the 60-36 lead with nine minutes left in the game. The Lady Trojans continued to play hard and went in to claim the 82-58 victory.

Mariska Reed shot 15-16 from the foul line, leading the team in scoring with 29 points, and breaking the Lady Trojan Basketball record for made free-throws in one game. The previous record was 13. Jackie Weaver had 14 points, eight rebounds, and six blocks. Jana Reed added 13 points, all in the second half, along with eight rebounds. As a team the Lady Trojans shot 24-53 (45.3%) from the field, 5-19 (26.3%) from behind the arc, and 29-33 (87.9%) from the foul line.
