NASHVILLE, Tenn. – NAIA No. 18 Trevecca (15-8, 5-3) hosted NAIA No. 7 Union University (24-3, 5-3) on Saturday and lost 62-55.

In the first half the Lady Trojans trailed by as much as twelve points then battled back going into half time down 33-27. Trevecca started the second half with an 8-0 run taking the 35-33 lead. The Lady Trojans went on to trail most of the second half and lost 62-55.

Ashlie Gilland led the Lady Trojans in scoring with 19 points. Jackie Weaver had eight points, 10 rebounds, and five blocked shots. Mariska Reed added 11 points. As a team Trevecca shot 22-57 (38.6%) from the field, 5-17 (29.4%) from behind the arc, and 6-7 (85.7%) from the foul line.
