NASHVILLE, Tenn. - NAIA No. 21 Trevecca (8-4) defeated Campbellsville University (4-6) in their second game of the Second Annual John and Phyllis Ray State Farm Classic at Moore Gym 72-64.

In the first half Trevecca took the early lead going in to the half 32-21. Midway through the second half Campbellsville went on a 20-0 run taking the 54-50 lead. The Lady Trojans answered back with a 11-0 run gaining the 61-56 lead with four minutes left in the game. Trevecca held on to the lead to come out with the 72-64 victory.

Kristin Scoggins and Mariska Reid led the Lady Trojans in scoring both with 15 points. Scoggins also shot 4-8 from behind the arc with three assists. Jana Reid added 14 points and nine rebounds while Julia Machalela had 12 points and three rebounds. Ashlie Gilland stepped up big for Trevecca providing nine points, five rebounds, and four assists. Jackie Weaver had five rebounds and three blocked shots with seven points. As a team the Lady Trojans shot 25-57 (43.9%) from the field, 7-21 (33.3%) from behind the arc, and 15-24 (62.5%) from the free throw line.
