The 2003-04 Trevecca cheerleading team had a tremendous experience and made a positive impact at the 2004 GMA (Gospel Music Awards) Week in Nashville April, 26-30, 2004, when several members of the Trevecca cheer squad worked in full uniform to help promote several artists for Flicker Records.

The opportunity arose during Trevecca cheerleader Heidi Allen's internship with the Nashville record label. Flicker Records thought that a good way to set their label apart was to make the Trevecca cheerleaders their own mascot during the week-long GMA week at the Nashville convention center.
Seven Trevecca cheerleaders helped promote Christian artist "Pillar" by doing a cheer at the offices of CCM (Contemporary Christian magazine) and two of their editors. Those who see Pillar on the cover of CCM can thank the Trevecca cheerleaders. The team also was able to promote and draw attention to Flicker artists at the company's booth during the early part of GMA week. Additionally, the Trevecca team performed at the start of the Flicker Records' showcase at Rocketown during the week.
The promotion for Flicker Records was so positive that the team has been invited back for the 2005 GMA week.
Flicker Records is owned by Audio Adrenaline; the Flicker stable of artists includes Pillar, Kids in the Way, Sub Seven, Everyday Sunday, and Mortal Treason.
