LEWISBURG,
Tenn. – The Trevecca men’s golf team wrapped up play in the Third
Annual RedHawk Invitational with a fifth place finish. The Invitational
was originally schedule for 36 holes, but was cut to just 27 holes due
to extremely difficult playing conditions. The tournament was played at
the Saddle Creek Golf Club in Lewisburg, Tenn.
UT-Chattanooga
won the event with a (309-148) 457. Competing against six teams, the
Trojans combined for a two-day total of 505 (338, 167).
Individually,
Brent Crow (79-41) and Rob Wilson (80-40) tied to lead the Trevecca
effort and placed eleventh (out of 30 competitors) with scores of 120.
Kevin Knight (90-42) 132, David King (89-44) 133, and Brandon Walker
(102-45) 147 also competed for Trevecca.
Trevecca will tee
it up again on March 14-15, 2005 in the University of North Alabama
Classic at the Cypress Lakes Golf Course in Muscle Shoals, Ala.
