HENDERSON, Tenn. – The Trevecca men’s
golf team participated in the Freed-Hardeman Chik-Fil-A Spring
Invitational at the Bear Trace course at Chickasaw, finishing in a
fifth place (of 9 teams) tie with Union University. The Trojans shot
644 (325-319) over the two day event. Trevecca finished 23 strokes
behind tournament champion Cumberland University, who shot 621
(302-319).
Individually for the Trojans, David King finished in a fifth place (of
55 players) tie with a +11 score of 155 (81-74), five strokes behind
the tournament Champion, Shane Vinson from Cumberland (74-76) 150.
Brent Crow tied for 25th with a 162 (81-81), Edward Yu finished in a
31st place tie at 165 (83-82), while Robbie Wilson (80-86) and Adam
Lawson (84-82) tied for 34th, each posting a score of 166.
The Trojans will tee it up in the TranSouth Conference Tournament at
the Hermitage Golf Club in Old Hickory, Tennessee April 11-12, 2005.
