CLIFTON, Tenn. – Trevecca finished
fourth of six teams in the 2004 Freed-Hardeman Chik-Fil-A Collegiate
Invitational. The tournament was played at the Bear Trace at Ross Creek
Landing. As a team Trevecca posted a (329-327) 656 overall. Union
University finished first with a (324-297) 621 with Cumberland
University in second (325-297) 622 overall. Host Freed-Hardeman posted
a (315-320) 635 for third place. The Union white team finish fifth with
a (348-335) 683 and Bethel College finished with a (358-332) 690.
Individually Cole Floyd was the medalist for Union with a (76-70) 146
and Cumberland’s Shane Vinson at (79-72) 151 and Drew Cain at (73-78)
151 of Freed-Hardeman finished second. Trevecca’s low scorer was Brent
Crow in 13th place with a 80-82) 162. Trojan Robbie Wilson was 16th
after posting a (84-81) 165. Trevecca’s David King at (83-83) 166 and
Edward Yu at (82-84) 166 tied for 18th overall. Kevin Knight was 23rd
with a (88-81) 169. There were 31 individuals competing in the
tournament.
Trevecca will finish their fall season at the Christian Brothers
Tournament at the Colonial Country Club in Memphis, Tenn. on November
1-2.
