HENDERSON, Tenn. – The Trevecca women’s golf team participated in the Freed-Hardeman Chik-Fil-A Spring Invitational at the Bear Trace course at Chickasaw. Trevecca finished with a 734 over the two day event, finishing second (of 5 teams) to Lyon College, who shot 714.

Individually Trevecca’s Noel Moffett finished second (of 26) in the tournament with a 172 (87-85), while teammate Mindy Seigenthaler finished two strokes back in third (88-86) 174. Moffett and Seigenthaler made the all-tournament team, along with event champion Adriane Barnett from Lyon College (78-79) 157, Leslie Garside of Lambuth (89-92) 181 and Chelsea Gilliam from Lyon (92-89) 181. The remainder of the Trojans were led by Kristi Gearhart shot 183 (98-85), Meredith Watkins posted a 205 (97-108), and Jenny Mercer shot 238 (115-123) for the Trojans.

The Trojans will tee it up in the TranSouth Conference Tournament at the Hermitage Golf Club in Old Hickory, Tennessee April 11-12, 2005.
