GEORGETOWN, Ky. - Trevecca opened
their 2004-05 Women's golf season at the Bluegrass Fall Classic at the Cherry
Blossom Golf Course in Georgetown, Kentucky. The scheduled 36 hole tournament
was cut to 18 holes after inclement weather cancelled Friday's
round.
Trevecca finished the tournament
in fourth place (of 8) with a 367 team score.
Mindy Seigenthaler posted a
opening round 85, which placed her in eighth overall and just eight shots back
of the tournament medalist. Noel Moffett (90) and Kristi Gearhart (91) also
cracked the top 20 individually.
Trevecca will return to action and
host the Second Annual Trevecca Invitational at Through the Green at Highland
Rim in Joelton, Tenn. on September 27-28,
2004.
