JOELTON, Tenn. - Trevecca Nazarene University hosted the 2nd Annual Trevecca Invitational at the par 71 Through the Green Golf Course at Highland Rim. The two-team two-day tournament was won by Trevecca. Trevecca posted a 746 to Freed-Hardeman’s 790.

Trevecca’s Mindy Seigenthaler claimed the medalist honors by posting a (81-94) 175. Kristi Gearhart finished second with a (90-86) 176. Anna Durham of Freed claimed third with a (94-83) 177. Noel Moffett (97-92) 189 of Trevecca and Freed’s Sarah Kate Hendrix (96-93) 189 completed the all-tournament team in a tie for fourth. 

The remainder of the Trevecca team posted the following scores. Brittany Murray (100-108) 208, Jenny Mercer (103-106) 209, and Meredith Watkins (121-110) 231.

There were 11 individuals competing in this year's invitational. The Trojans will return to action October 4-5 in the Freed-Hardeman Fall Invitational at The Bear Trace at Ross Creek Landing in Clifton, Tenn.
