HENDERSON, Tenn. - (The Bear Trace at Ross Creek Landing) Trevecca freshman, Mindy Seigenthaler won the Freed-Hardeman Invitational with a (83-77) 160 tournament score. Seigenthaler (Brentwood, Tenn.) becomes the first Individual Medalist for the Trevecca women's golf program. This is just the fourth season for women's golf at Trevecca. Seigenthaler's round of 77 on day two and her two day total of 160 are both Trevecca records. Deanna Doty posted a (93-89) 182 to finish seventh (of 22) and Kristi Gearhart shot a (95-89) 184 to finish eighth overall.

Lyon College won the overall team title with a (356-330) 686. Trevecca, which is receiving votes for the NAIA Top 25, didn't compete as a team in the tournament due to an injury. Cumberland finished second with a (412-396) 808 and Freed-Hardeman finished third with a (419-413) 832.

On day one, Seigenthaler led the tournament by two strokes after Monday's round of 83. Deanna Doty's 93 earned her the sixth position and Kristi Gearhart's 95 placed her seventh overall after the first round.

The TranSouth Athletic Conference Tournament starts Monday, April 12 at the General's Retreat at Hermitage Golf Course in Hermitage, Tennessee. The tournament will conclude on Tuesday, April 13.
