Freed-Hardeman Fall Invitational
(HENDERSON, Tenn.) – Day One: The women’s golf team posted the best one-day total in their three-year history, with a combined 375 in the opening round of the 2003 Freed-Hardeman University Fall Invitational at the Bear Trace at Chickasaw in Henderson.  The previous team best was a 385 last season.

Day Two: The records continued to fall as the Lady Trojans shattered the team records for one-day and two-day totals.  Trevecca combined for a 375-356 731 to finish second in the Invitational.  Berry College took the title with an impressive 689.  The previous two-day team record was a 771 shot last season. 

Mindy Seigenthaler led the way for the Lady Trojans with a school record two-day total of 86-84 170, while the rest of the team finished with these scores: Noel Moffett 96-86 180, Deanna Doty 94-91 185, Jennifer Armstrong 101-95 196, Cassie Butler 107-98 205.  Kristi Gearhart played as an individual and shot a 93-94 187.  Seigenthaler finished third (of 26) and Moffett finished fifth (of 26) and both made the all-tournament team.  Moffett’s 180 tied the previous best Trevecca two-day total.

Next Up: The women will play in the Berry College Invitational at the Coosa Country Club in Rome, Georgia on October 13-14, 2003.
