Trevecca Nazarene University
Intercollegiate Athletic Hall of Fame
Categories/Criteria
I. Athlete
A. Only intercollegiate student-athletes, graduated after 1970, will be considered for induction. Candidates must have participated in intercollegiate athletics at Trevecca for a minimum of two years.
B. A candidate cannot be considered as a nominee for the Hall of Fame until five (5) or more years after the day of his/her original graduating class.
C. Must be an outstanding performer with several honors to match. Examples: All-Conference, All-District, All-American, Scholar-Athlete, MVP (team), etc.
D. Must exemplify the ideals/standards of Trevecca Nazarene University and other personal qualities such as sportsmanship, character, and integrity.
E. Must have brought distinction to the Trevecca Nazarene University athletic program.
II. Coach
A. Must have coached as a head coach at Trevecca Nazarene University for a minimum of five years.
B. Must have been an outstanding coach and/or a unique contribution to the lives of Trevecca Nazarene University student-athletes.
C. Must have exemplified the ideals and standards of Trevecca Nazarene University.
D. Must have brought distinction to the Trevecca Nazarene University athletic program.
III. Meritorious Service
A. Must have a unique identification with the Trevecca Nazarene University athletic program through moral and/or financial support.
B. Must have, over a period of years, exhibited a dedication and loyalty of the Trevecca Nazarene University athletic program and the philosophy and ideals of Trevecca Nazarene University.
