Lisa Bergmann begins her second season as the lead assistant for Head Coach Ernie Reynolds. The Grant Park, Illinois, native was a standout softball player for Olivet Nazarene University. Bergmann played third base for the Tigers during the team’s run to the 2003 NAIA National Tournament. Bergmann was highly decorated while at ONU, earning All-Region VII, All-Region VII Tournament, NCCAA Honorable Mention All-American, CCAC All-Conference, NFCA All-Region, and NFCA Scholar-Athlete honors.
Head Coach Ernie Reynolds explains what Bergmann brings to the coaching staff: “Coach Bergmann has deepened our staff. Her playing experience gives her credibility as a skills teacher. Our team has grown from her knowledge and teaching skills."
Bergmann started her coaching career with two years as an assistant coach with Grant Park Middle School in Illinois.
