RATON, Fla. - The Trevecca Men's soccer team (0-4, 0-1) traveled
to Florida Atlantic University (2-1) for their second consecutive match
against a NCAA D-1 opponent and found the competition stiff in the Sunshine State. FAU scored two in the first and
added four second half goals to claim the 6-0 victory over the Trojans. Seth
Miller started the match in goal and played the first 55:36 and was relieved by
Randy Schlappi for the final 34 minutes. Each Trojan keeper had three saves,
Miller was in net for four of the Owl goals and Schlappi the final
two.
This was the first meeting between
the two schools in men's soccer. Trevecca was facing a Atlantic Sun Conference
team for the second match in a row. Trevecca lost 2-1 at Belmont University in their last
outing.
Trevecca will face NCAA Division
II Florida Tech (0-1) on Saturday at 3:00 p.m.
