With a new field on which to play, the Trojans began the 2001-2002 season hoping to better their 4-14 mark from last season.

Tennessee Temple fell to the Trojans twice in 2001, 7-3 at home and later 4-0 at Tennessee Temple.

The Trojans won three games during the remainder of the season: Freed-Hardeman 3-1, Brewton-Parker 2-1, and Asbury College 2-1 in double overtime.

Trevecca finished with a 7-11 record on the season.

Karen Francis was named TranSouth Conference Player of the Week while Tawny Brown earned the Coaches Award for her Christian leadership on and off the field Carolyn Pratt was named most inspirational player. Lauren Collins was named the teams’ Most Valuable Player.
