BRISTOL, Va. – Trevecca (0-1) kicked off the Mark Champion coaching era
with a trip to play the Lady Cobra’s of Virginia Intermont College
(1-2).
Virginia Intermont came out strong and built a 3-1 lead, paced by
Danielle Tanner’s 4 goals on their way to the 6-1 win over the
extremely young Lady Trojan squad. Allie Ward-Bellingham and
Vicky Fisher chipped in a goal each for the Lady Cobras. Freshman
Kim Terry played goal for Trevecca, and Sophomore standout Loni
Osegueda notched her first goal of the year in the first half, the only
tally of the game against Lady Cobra Keeper Kateryna Rewilak.
