FLORENCE,
Ala. – The Trevecca Women’s soccer team (1-5-1,
0-1) dropped their fifth game of the season on Thursday, falling to the
University of
North Alabama
(6-1-1).
The Lions, an NCAA D-II program,
came out strong and scored three goals on Trevecca Keeper Kim Terry in the first
half, going into the locker room up 3-0. Casey Thornton played goal for the
Trojans in the second half, but it didn’t matter as the Lions scored twice more
and Kelsey Hunt earned the shutout as Trevecca fell
0-5.
