NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Trevecca (4-0) took two from Mountain State (0-2) to remain undefeated for first year coach Ernie Reynolds.

In game one Trevecca put two runs on the board in the bottom of the first and then held Mountain State to just one run in the fifth on their way to a 2-1 victory. Hollie Shane toed the rubber, earning her third win of the year in her third consecutive appearance. Lindsey Howard (2-3) and Brandy Miller (2-4) both had multi-hit games, while Jennifer Perkins was 1-3 with two RBI.

Perkins (1-0) started the second game for the Trojans and received seven runs of support in the first three innings. Jessica Leary came in to pitch in the fourth and Perkins re-entered the game on the mound in the sixth. Lindsey Howard caught and hit 2-4 in the game. Brandy Miller and Evyn Terry were both 2-4 with two RBI, while Jami Toomey was 2-3 with four RBI. Katie Rains (0-1) pitched and took the loss, with Sarah Kaufman.

Trevecca will host John A. Logan College on Saturday, February 26 at 1 p.m.
