Basic Requirements
- Age 21 or above OR working full-time OR have an associate's degree
- Completion of at least 48 semester hours of college credit (from regionally accredited institutions)
- An overall grade-point-average of at least 2.0 (on a 4.0 scale)
- Pass the writing and math assessment tests
- Demonstrate computer literacy
Admissions Process
- Complete the BSIT application and submit it to the MAS office with the $25 application fee (non-refundable).
- Request one official transcript from each regionally accredited institution attended. Each transcript MUST be sent directly from the institution to the MAS office via U.S. mail.
- Pass a math skills assessment exam to demonstrate college-level math skills (click here for a study guide.)
- Pass a writing skills assessment exam to demonstrate college-level writing skills (an outline may be used).
- Attend an assessment interview with your designated academic advisor (if applicable). Prospective students who transfer less than 72 semester hours or are deficient in any of the admission criteria will be advised how to correct such deficiencies.
- Upon notification of acceptance, payment of the $100 admission fee is required to hold your spot in class. This fee is non-refundable and non-transferable to anyone else or to a later start time. The admission fee will be applied to your first semester's tuition.
