  4. Sarah Keeton spoke from the gospel of John, reminding the Trevecca Community that Jesus is the true shepherd, the way of salvation, and with this shepherd, we will never be alone.

  5. Dr. Michael Lodahl, theology professor at Point Loma Nazarene University, talked about taking a Christian response to our neighbors of other religions using the Lukeís parable of the Good Samaritan.

  6. Dr. R.T. Kendall and Dr. William H. Greathouse engage in a "Conversation Between Friends," an exploration and reminiscing of 40-years of discussing their differing theological beliefs. This event followed morning's the academic convocation.

  7. Trevecca Alumnus and former pastor of Londonís Westminster Chapel, Dr. R.T. Kendall speaks for the academic convocation and is awarded an Honorary doctorate. Prof. Joolie Philip is awarded the 2008 Teaching Excellence award.

  8. Morgan Wilkinson spoke from the Emmaus Road passage in the book of Luke, and used the passage to remind us that even when we struggle, are faced with trials and are persecuted for our faith, we know that this will all come to and end because Christ died.

  9. Rachel Hester, Director of the Campus for Human Development, along with members of her staff spoke about the problem of homelessness in Nashville, and how Trevecca community can help to create solutions for the homeless community.

  10. Blake Thompson challenged the Trevecca Community to get involved with Godís work both here in Nashville and around the world. He also shared specifically about a project the he is involved in with the Lost Boys of Sudan.
