Each year the Department of Communication Studies awards literally hundreds of dollars in scholarship money to both incoming and current students who are majoring in dramatic arts, theatre education, or mass communication at Trevecca. Scholarships may be based on financial need, academic merit, and/or audition, depending on the type of scholarship. Students interested in any of these scholarships are encouraged to apply as early as possible during their senior year of high school.

In dramatic arts, students may also apply for one of three departmental assistant positions offered annually, each of which carries a major scholarship.
