Brett Armstrong teaches courses in history and political science. His graduate work at Georgia State and Vanderbilt focused on English Reformation history. He has published articles in the Cambridge Dictionary of Christianity and The Encyclopedia of the Reformed Faith and a chapter in Adaptations of Calvinism in Reformation Europe, edited by Mack Holt. Previously, he taught at Christ Presbyterian Academy in Nashville where he continues to coach the varsity boys’ soccer team. Brett also has served as the head coach of Trevecca’s women’s soccer program and has more than 20 years of high school and college coaching experience. He lives in Franklin with his wife, Leslie, and their three children—Jacob, Alex, and Connor.
