Joni earned her Bachelor’s degree in psychology and family studies from Trevecca in 2009. During her undergraduate experience she completed an internship at the Hope Clinic for Women where she was able to gain experience working with individual women and couples. She will graduate this spring with her Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. Joni currently works with young adults in the Transitional Living program at Youth Villages. She believes in using a strength focused, solution based approach to therapy with both individuals and couples. Joni grew up in Nashville and is the third of four daughters. She enjoys reading, writing, and chatting with friends over coffee. Joni currently resides in Pleasant View, TN with her husband, their two dogs, and two month old son.
