Jon currently resides in Mt. Juliet, Tennessee with wife Mindy, sons Jason and Lincoln, and daughter Emmy. He specializes in leadership and organizational effectiveness. He previously worked as a Six Sigma Process Improvement Manager, served on staff of two Nazarene churches, and served as the Director of Graduate Business Programs at Trevecca. His leadership training has extended to various parts of the U.S., Kenya, East Africa, and the Philippines. Dr. Burch teaches a series of management and leadership courses in the traditional undergraduate program, the Management & Human Relations Program, and in Trevecca’s graduate business program. Dr. Burch has also published two books, The Gym Rat’s Guide to Championship Living (2005), and So, You Want to Be a Leader…Let the Journey Begin (2002). Dr. Burch currently serves on the YMCA board, where he has developed and offers leadership training for middle and high school students.
