Brent Tallman, an ordained minister in the Church of the Nazarene, has served on the staffs of churches in Illinois, Kansas, and Virginia. He previously taught at Olivet Nazarene University where he was awarded Who’s Who Among American Teachers for two consecutive years. Brent and his wife, Amy, and their two daughters have been  part of the Trevecca community since 2006. As a part of the Office of the Chaplain, his responsibilities include small groups, chapels, mission trips, and formational events (i.e. prayer walks, retreats, and devotional journeys). He also oversees student-led ministries and organizes opportunities for community service.  He teaches Christian Life and Ministry, Spiritual Disciplines and Youth, and Life Calling and Purpose. He also has taught Personal and Spiritual Development, Youth Ministry, and Christian Education as a part of the Christian Ministry Program. His hobbies include reading, fishing, golfing, watching movies, and hanging out with “his girls.”
