Trevecca Nazarene University and the Southeast Region NYI celebrate the Annual TNT@TNU. Top Nazarene Talent, or TNT, was established in 1986 as a regional talent competition for youth from the southeast. Its purpose is to give young people from across the southeast USA an opportunity to develop and devote their talents, abilities and gifts to be used for Jesus Christ. Competitions are held in the areas of individual and team sports, vocal and instrumental music, speech and drama, art, writing, math and business, and quizzing.

There are some other important elements of TNT@TNU:
  • To help you become a better disciple of Jesus through the relationships you build with your peers and leaders throughout the competition.
  • To build fellowship among all who participate and a spirit of unity among the youth of your district and all the districts of out great southeast USA region.
  • To emphasize the truth that each person is equal in God's sight and has the same obligation to discover, develop and share the gifts and talents God has given them in every possible way.
  • To introduce students to and encourage them to attend Trevecca Nazarene University
