Emergency Alert System Go Back
TNU EMERGENCY ALERT SYSTEM - SIGN UP TODAY!!!
Introducing the NEW and IMPROVED TNU EMERGENCY ALERT SYSTEM (formerly JYNGLE). This is a phone
and e-mail communications delivery system allowing the University to send EMERGENCY ALERT messages to all students and employees who have registered their phones and e-mail addresses for this service. It will only be used by Trevecca to send EMERGENCY ALERT messages and not for any other purpose, such as general notifications, SPAM, advertising, etc. ALL TNU campus extensions (including offices, dorms, apartments, etc…) and TNU owned cell phones
will automatically be signed up for this service each year. All active TNU e-mail addresses assigned to employees and students (Live@edu accounts) will also be notified in the event of an emergency. NOTE: ALL non-TNU owned phone numbers that were in the old JYNGLE system have been DELETED. If you were signed up in the old system, you’ll need to sign up again in the new system. We STRONGLY RECOMMEND that you sign up your personal cell/home phone #’s and non-TNU e-mail addresses
for this service. For those who use a SmartPhone (iPhone, Blackberry, etc...) and have your personal e-mail account synchronized to that phone, then I suggest you sign up that e-mail account. Although we pray that we will never have to use this service, we do want to offer you the opportunity to be notified in as many ways possible if there ever was a need to send an alert. This application has the capability to send BOTH voice AND text to your cell phone!
PLEASE SIGN UP TODAY by following this link: http://emergency.trevecca.edu. Complete the required information, then Click SUBMIT. That’s all there is to it.
If you have any technical problems registering your information, please notify the ITS HelpDesk (ext 1223, 248-1223, or HelpDesk@trevecca.edu ).
