Position Description
The department of science and mathematics at Trevecca Nazarene University is seeking a full-time biology faculty member for a tenure-track position.  The faculty in our department embrace a collaborative and cross-disciplinary approach to undergraduate teaching and research. The successful candidate will demonstrate teaching excellence, a vision for undergraduate research, and a strong commitment to the ideals and mission of the university.  A Ph.D. in Biology or a closely related field is required, although outstanding candidates who will complete a Ph.D. by August 2013 will be considered.   Preference will be given to candidates with expertise and teaching experience in the area of Human Anatomy and Physiology.   Additional responsibilities will include student advising, serving on departmental and university committees, and teaching other biology and general-education courses.
