ADJUNCT FACULTY POSITIONS

HEALTHCARE ADMINISTRATION

The Skinner School of Business and Technology invites applications for adjunct faculty positions in Healthcare Administration to help staff a growing program in the school.  Current opportunities are available for online delivery of learning but other opportunities may arise in the future for on-campus or blended delivery as well.

Responsibilities will include teaching in the MBA program track in Healthcare Administration.  We are particularly interested in individuals who can teach in the areas of healthcare policy and systems, healthcare law, healthcare quality, and healthcare strategy.   At this time we are seeking those who are interested in teaching in a distance format but will consider others who might be interested in teaching in other formats for the future.  Evening or weekend teaching may be required depending on the nature of the course delivered. For current positions classes will be taught using online delivery methodologies. Trevecca will provide the necessary training to teach the online courses effectively.

Qualifications:  Ideal candidates will possess a doctorate or masters in health information technology, medicine, healthcare, informatics, or related field.  Significant experience in the healthcare industry and/or appropriate certifications in the healthcare discipline are significant advantages.  All applicants must have a personal commitment to Jesus Christ. Teaching and professional experience in the noted disciplines are preferred.  A demonstrated passion for students and the discipline are essential.

Applications:  Candidates should send a letter of interest, a resume, and a completed Part-Time Faculty Application (available at http://www.trevecca.edu/jobs/) to: eanthony@trevecca.edu.

The University:  Trevecca is a private, accredited, co-educational, comprehensive institution of higher learning that exists to meet the higher educational needs of the Church of the Nazarene.  Its academic programs are based on Christian values that promote scholarship, critical thinking, and meaningful worship for students in preparation for lives of leadership and service to the church, the community, and the world at large.
