Overall responsibility
The Department of Information Technology in the School of Business and Technology at Trevecca Nazarene University is seeking an on-line adjunct faculty member position for instructing the Legal, Regulatory, and Ethical Environment course in our MBA/IT program.  This is a graduate course with the following course description:

Explores the many legal, ethical and regulatory issues that come with using information technology. Key topics will include technology licensing and contracts, privacy, piracy, security, confidentiality, intellectual property rights, and internet regulation.

Immediate teaching opportunities will begin in summer 2013.  This course is scheduled as accelerated course, meeting on-line for six weeks.

Qualifications Required
Successful applicants should have on-line teaching experience and a terminal degree in Law, Information Technology, Management in Information Systems, or Computer Science plus experience in the field of Information Technology Law. Applicants with a graduate degree with over 18 graduate credit hours in Law or Information Technology, but lacking a terminal degree, will also be considered. In addition, applicants must be in agreement with the University’s theological tradition and mission statement and be willing to sign the University’s statement of faith.
