Selecting ProQuest Direct prompts a general search within multiple ProQuest databases. Or, you may select a ProQuest database within a subject specific area or by name. ![]() OFF CAMPUS LOGIN
Follow these instructions making special note of the barcode number combination. ![]() BASIC SEARCH
Enter the search term in the text box. Notice that there are options to select databases, to limit the search by date, full-text, or to scholarly journals. Select Search. ![]() ADVANCED SEARCH
In the Advanced Search option you can search for multiple terms in various locations of the document. You can also click the Publications tab and search for a particular journal by it's title. ![]() SORT BY PUBLICATION TYPE
You can sort your results by type of publication. Options are noted on the tabs across the top of the results list. ![]() VIEW YOUR RESULTS
The articles retrieved will have various viewing options: full text, Page Image-PDF, and Abstract. Select the desired link to open the document. When using the PDF format be sure and use the Adobe toolbar to print the document. WebBridge may be helpful in locating the fulltext from other sources when only an Abstract is available. You can select desired articles by clicking in the check boxes. Options for marked records are: Printing and Emailing the article(s). You may also make a selection of the citation format. |
