Lifeline
Is a ministry that involves all who have a strong burden to pray for our campus and community. Lifeline meets to pray after every chapel service and sends out weekly email prayer newsletters. 

Saints
Provides opportunities of service to the senior adults in Trevecca Towers, such as preaching, leading music, singing, visiting, making cards, etc. 

King's Kids
Tuesday nights a group of TNU students gather to minister to the kids of the J.C. Napier community by way of a vacation Bible school type ministry. 

Angel Tree and Adopted Students from Cameron Middle School
Give gifts to the kids of parents who are incarcerated or who have little to give to their children.

Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee

The mission of Second Harvest Food Bank is to feed the hungry in Middle Tennessee while reducing food waste through an efficient system of collection and distribution. Second Harvest distributes food to more than 500 partner agencies in 27 counties. Other programs include the Emergency Food Box Program, the Culinary Arts Center, and Kids Cafe.

Volunteer Opportunities:

 

·          Sort donated food/package emergency food boxes in warehouse

·          Help plan special events

Minimum age: 12 (6th grade)

Requirements: Volunteer groups must contain a minimum of 15 members, and the maximum number of people that can sort food at any one time is 50. Groups of people younger than 18 must be accompanied by adult chaperones. One adult for every 5 young people is required.

Hours: Monday - Friday from 9:00 AM to 12:00 Noon and from 1:00 to 4:00 PM

 

 

Nashville Rescue Mission

The Nashville Rescue Mission, in keeping with God's command to love our neighbor as ourselves, seeks to help the most needy in the community by offering food, clothing and shelter to the homeless. The mission also offers recovery programs to anyone struggling with life-defeating problems. The goal is to help people understand the love of God, to find satisfaction in life, and to become a positive part of their community.

Salvation Army

The Salvation Army, an international movement, is an evangelical part of the universal Christian Church. Its message is based on the Bible. Its ministry is motivated by the love of God. Its mission is to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet human needs in His name without discrimination.

ReConstruct (formerly MPRINT)

ReConstruct is a Christian organization that equips and prepares students and adults for a lifetime of mission service by providing opportunities to assist low-income residents in the repair and rehabilitation of their homes. ReConstruct recruits, coordinates, and supervises volunteer labor from youth groups, churches, and various other organizations to paint, roof and perform minor repairs to the homes of disadvantaged residents.
